I have an 84 fx that has an fl frond end on it. I have switched to forward board controls and really like it a lot better. My question is this. What all would I need to change on the trans to get rid of all that extra fx linkage and be able to go direct from the toe shifter to the trans arm? Where would be a good place to find these parts?
NOTE.. It's just a link I found that shows a number of kits,
Not a personal recommendation
What I did on both the 79 and 81
Was remove Everything from the rocker on the trans forward
Plugged the holes in the primary case and ran a single rod to the forward control
