Hi there, i got a 1970 FLH and when using the e start all i can hear is spinning
Pretty sure the bendix needs replacing
Once i pull the primary off am i able to pull the starter shaft and bendix from the primary side without removing clutch basket etc and do i need to remove the starter motor?
any tips would be appreciated?

battery disconnect - pulled solenoid - outer pri - clutch and chains and sprockets off pull Bendix and shaft - new USA Bendix
we ould also pull the starter and the inner primary housing to replace the gaskets and o ring ( better yet install a james rubber replacement plate with the seal formed in it ) - replace that bearing in the cover - grease the gearing and new bearing -

Great... and while yer there...and If that Round Swingarm don't have 13 inch Shocks... the Housing is Probably already got a Hole Ground in it from the Chain... so that Plate won't do any good... otherwise... they work Nice..
