Lol- not sure what that says about my riding architect, I’m getting on fine with the 240s. Happy at 70+ but haven’t had them in the wet yet-that might be interesting 🤔
they do look the part though
I was getting a rear wheel death wobble at 60 MPH on the highway, took the wheel off at least 1/8" out of round. Shinko sent me a new one for free, of course mounting was on me. The new one was a little better but still wobbled at speed riding solo. With my wife on the back, it was OK but not great. In the turns, you could feel the bike having to get up on the square edge of the tire. Not for me, Dunlops, which I usually shy away from, have been real good to me so far. I thought I was going to hate the look, but not bothering me with the increase in ride-ability. Good luck.

as much as i hate it. I think i am liking these... my experience with dunlop they suck in wet. But no windshield and minimal hemet out of state.... not much high speed in rain like my new touring bikes
No boards on this one.... i have run the metz on my new touring bikes but I switched to avons.... never go back. But those just dont look right on my ole tractor

I have the set I took off in the basement, I think I offered them to Panz last week for $50 for the pair, same offer. They probably have 750 miles on them.

Thanks for the offer....i still haven't figured out what the hell gonna do....looked at coker 500-16. You know me...cant even decide on colors. Painted the SOB 3 times. Maybe just go blackwalls. Hung soft bags on it yesterday and hated them....guess i like it just the way it is....tires still hold air and round...wife will just have too live with my stupidity running old ones....Did put new sneaks on the hot rod truck yesterday....they were 9 years old. That should give me points with her..she doesnt ride with me on my old bikes anyway...
Enjoy Memorial Day....
Check your tires Bump. Noticed my chain was a little loose so put the bike on the lift to adjust and found this. Not only is the rear bald but has a slit across it. Still running the old Goodyears and the front still looks good. Ordered an Avon Blackwall.

I still have my 1991 Sportster I bought new with my father. Super long story, bike ends up in my basement in about 2001. I mess with it off and on, but mostly off and really put no money into the bike. 5 years ago I get the bug and get pretty serious with the bike, have her running pretty good, fix some long neglected bits etc. Then I get a Flathead, back in the corner she goes. But the few times I rode her, my brother as well, terrible push from the tires on the turns.
Last year I break down and buy new tires. I figured based on when my father stopped riding the bike, the tires though not original where from the late 90's, and they were hard as a rock. New tires fitted and my Sporty is a corner carver again.
After years of buying $10 used tires for my cars as a young man, I have decided a good set of tires is gold on your vehicle.
