Looking for advice /opinions on all sprocket sizes...motor sprocket, tranny sprocket and sevricar rear sprocket...I have a new 37 tooth sprocket for the rear end and 21, 22. and 23 tooth tranny sprocket..still looking at what motor sprocket to buy...would like good take off and best chance for a decent speed top end...stock 4 speed tranny...stock 74 motor...first time poster but long time rider
the trans will need to be almost new the extra load on the main shaft will cause it to leak - we found andrews hi gear and main shaft hold up the best
the servi car used a 19 front sprocket - and the 74 has a 24 engine sprocket not the later 25 so no help
and with the car tires or even the oem 18s you geared up hi - 21 trans you can try we did a pan 30 years ago at least and dont remember what gearing we ended up with - but it was gear up hi what ever we ended up with
if we had the andrews A2 Cam shaft then we would have installed it as well we it makes power off idle and your going to need that for cruising
