hi every one heres a FXSB Low Rider with the limited edition paint set, i like the gold trim pieces , i think they really go well the paint ! . . . only thing i would change is the seat & maybe the air cleaner, of course OEM ! (maybe also in gold !) . . . .

heres a set mounted to a 1984 FXSB Low Rider , i think they went a little overboard with so much chrome . . . i think this example could have ben done better , notice the throttle cable, it wont take long before it rubs the clear coat & maybe the paint off the tank . . .& whats up with the kicker spring ? also missing forward foot Pegs . . .

nice looking example ,but i think too much chrome again . . . BTW i am collecting these images because i would like to build an FXS or FXEF and using what i've found to help me decide how i would build one for my self . . . currently collecting ideas & parts !

I got some GREAT news !! i've ben working out a deal with a Guy in Australia who reached to to me about an NOS Series II Limited Edition Paint Set ! he contacted me back in February this year & I've ben working behind the scenes to come up with his asking price , once we agreed on a deal he's ben patiently waiting for me to contact him to finalise the deal , now the tins are on their way to me & i've received an order confirmation yesterday & was given a delivery date of 29 June !!! I've had last week & this week off & was hoping to have them by now , but the seller had to go through quite a bit to get the sent so it took a little longer than expectpided , but we gotter DONE !!
i am just so excited to have ben able to acquire this set, i already have an NOS Series III i got a couple of years ago. Here are a few photos of the Series II that are on their way
these Tins are so beautiful I'll bet their even more spectacular in person . . .
these are pretty good photos, you can see the high quality of theses paint sets . . .
i really like the cool retro graphics as soon as i learned about these Limited Edition Sets , i've ben on a quest to find all 3 sets !!
sense the right side dose not have "Harley-Davidson" script on it i have an idea to do something withe the Air Cleaner Name plate to make it symmetrically balanced . . .
i really think these were really the forerunner to all the Limited Edition Paint sets that Harley-Davidson has offered through their Dealers sense 1981 . . .
i always liked the FX Narrow Glide full skirted fenders . . .
i am thinking of doing a side mount license plate, the German plates are sooo big any way, it would be a shame to hide this Graphic from sight !! ; (
well i'll be sure to post some pix when they get here . . . . stay tuned lol , . . . can you tell i am happy ?
