If it's been sitting for 15 years wouldn't refitting the entire intake make sense. Get rid of dried up/cracked O-ring/rubber bands and make sure there's no vacuum leaks?

Sooo, please let us know what ignition you have so we can help you get the old girl running.As Ripsaw mentioned,go thru that carb again and clear all the jets.

its has a Crane H-1 ignition in right now and I think I'll change it back to a points system.

I don't mean to offend anyone. I'm just tired of everything having some pollical statement.
All I want to do is get my old HD running. And I believe that has absolutely nothing to do with politics.

That's a "SIGNATURE" at the bottom of johnjzjz's post. Each person can an a 'signature' that automatically shows up every time you post. Just like my statement about how intelligent I think I am. Don't take anything personnal. There are some very helpful people here.
