as for eBay - you guys are funny - I assume you all think everyone is an honest seller and there are no rubes out there - its been since the early years of the Wild West that I was on eBay - and paypal - chopcult - now chooperswapper - all I can say is there's a sucker born every minute
as for the economy tankin' - please keep spending - I'm making lots of cash - money will run out sooner or later - maybe another trillion or two or three or 10 down the road - but printin' money and givin it out with no investment on training/skills/innovation is no way to build an economy
the bunch we deal with will always find the way to do and buy what they want because they are willing to go and get it and do what it takes
today all one on one political statements made to me on a personal level end in a felony being charged to me again - i wear it like a long ranger star
I used to have a great network in Minnesota and Wisconsin to get parts - that disappeared when the "buyers" came in and started posting on Craigslist with "wanted to buy - Ironhead, Shovel and Pan parts" - the resellers stay ahead of the locals - and with all the online sales and the younger guys on chopperswapper and facebook it is getting harder and harder to find stuff for builds and to keep other guys bikes going - the CV stuff I'm doing in for a buddies 90 Electraglide - he owns a gun club and works like 24/7 - I'm doin the work for "range time" - I operate on the old system - but its getting hard to keep it going....

Just passing on what I experienced, bought a couple of Legit one and got burned on a scam. Ebay paid $6500 the purchase price, not the $450 shipping. Yes it's too easy to copy a photo from anywhere and place an add. Fortunately my last 3 have been straight from the dealership, when they wouldn't buy Evos.
I'm slowing down now, the market here has slowed and there are too many good deals for me to make any money on reworks and flips.
Not being political, around here we have too many people buying toys they can't afford and the first blip they're for sale.
