Looking for some information to source some parts.
I currently have an original windshield on my 1970, original and well used clear upper and what I believe is a National Cycle blue lower, no adjustable window. I started the current quest looking for the adjustable notched window to work with my application, but that drifted into color issues. The go to supplier for these windshields seems to be National Cycle, but there blue lower is a pale sky blue. I believe this to be close to OEM, but not what I am looking for, current light blue lower.
Drag Specialties sells the one that is more of a royal blue, to match my police blue passing lamps:
But I can not find a source to buy just the lower and the adjustable window? In the darker blue, not the stock light blue that National offers.
Anybody have a supplier? Drag Specialties does not seem to sell parts, just the entire unit or the clear top, nothing on the colored lowers.
Im not a fan of either to be honest. I have windshields for my bikes sitting in the basement (none of them blue) and they will never see use.
I think I have 3 windshields up in my attic. Not a big fan of the look. Detracts from the locomotive look of the front end. I do have one on a 72 FLH for cold weather. Makes a big difference.
