Default simple rocker box question

The rocker pins have holes to allow the oil to pass from one side of each rocker box to the other, and also an oil through the pin to lube the rocker itself.

Does it matter if the holes line up? there is a channel in the pin that the pumped oil goes around to reach the two holes in the end of each pin.

I was wondering if its best to line these up a certain way.

Thanks

Something I have never stressed over..as the "ring" you speak of carries oil from port to port, regardless

I want to thank you both for taking the time to answer.

I knew it wouldn't hurt, was wondering if there was a optimum location. I just decided to line up the holes with the input hole anyway.

I've always done it that way. Never had an issue. Just nice to get verification.
