Took 4 kids and colleges and weddings but there's a shovel in the garage again . Bought it from the original owner . 21k miles . Needs carb work and a main seal leak in the trans . I think it was worth waiting 30 yrs .

Just a word of caution. Riding a motorcycle ,especially a big one ,is a perishable skill. A lot of the single vehicle motorcycle accidents in my area involve riders in similar situations as you. Rode bikes when they were younger, gave it up to raise kids etc. Now have the time and the coin to take it up again. Not meaning to preach a sermon, just making an observation.

I'm onto how people in cars look at bikes -- I can still see the ladies face in the mustang that ran a stop sign on me -- me and my passenger hit the door and flew over the car -- I understand what you're saying

Default Battery

So the bike laid for about 5-10 years indoors--tanks look good but for a battery should I get liquid or gel ?
