these are the latches on my 82......i bent the tab over on the outside nut.....so far so good... i will be pinning mine in the future ,iam a lousy hand with a drill and can see me slipping off and marking the lid .......inside decal...no more than 15 lbs
Thats a nice bike, you have been the most help. Did the spacers go on both sides? Mostly I want to try to keep the fender from shaking so bad I cant keep my signal light bar from shaking loose. I don't like the rubber bumper. I'd like to put on a earlier model fender tip and shorter light bar.
Thats cool, Thanks. I use a 1/2" piece of radiator hose on my kick stand to keep from denting up my primary, two brass screws to hold on my kicker pedal. brass screws to keep my foot board rubbers in place. Hey, do I need to make my pics smaller or am I comming in fine?

if your not using the rear rack four spacers needed ......on mine i have the rack so only need two spacers. they go on the bolt directly behind the decal and where the front part of the rack is secured
