I lost the drag pipes on my FXWG
Here are the new pipes.
PO said intermediate jet had been changed for the drag pipes but he had no idea what the size so I pulled the carb. I found the main jet to be .068 which surprised me because the spark plugs indicated rich. The intermediate was .028.
I'm thinking the plugs may look rich because the PO didn't respect the enrichment lever.
The new pipes are "slightly" baffled, no packing
What size jets do you recommend that I start with?
i run a 68 main and the last time i rode my bike it started backfiring , coasted home. plugs were fouled (rich) took the carb to my hd mech who changed the intermediate jet to the second lowest size what ever that is. he said any lower it will run lean. what is the lowest and second lowest size ?

I guess I would rather start out running rich and not lean with the new pipes. The larger jets are on the way so I'll know next week sometime when I get the bike out for a spin.
