And I know pictures are good so here are a few from a 69 flh that I rebuilt. When I got the bike the pistons and clutch's were stuck and the brake fluid had turned solid like dirt. It had been chained to a tree for at least 7 years and had paint splashed on both sides. rode it from NC to Sturgis early 90's
These are the other bolts I haven't figured out yet. 2 have a d shaped washer that's curved a little. 2 have stepped washers . And one bolt with a castle nut.
This bike was wrecked and the front end has been replaced. The castle nut and bolt went to the other front end??
And from searching threads here it seems like tourqe specs should be about 150-160 for compensator and 70-80 for nut for clutch hub , that sound right?
the top bolts, or at least the stepped washers on the top bolt's, are usually found on cheap after market foot pegs that clamp on with a 'U' clamp & the stepped washer bites in the frame or crash bars to stop them spinning on ya,... not a factory Harley part...

I always get the wtf look and a reply that lets me know they never did. If you are now having a WTF experience please stop and read manual.

Short one with the castle nut is the rear disc brake anchor strap bolt for the square swingarm, goes to the tab on the bottom of the swingarm just forward of the shock mount.
Top ones look like the bolt & wedge washers some aftermarket U clamps came with for the frame tubes, usually 2 wedges per.

You get points for knowing that, not many do, I set & shim engine and trans, makes a serious difference vibration reduction and stuff fitting correctly.
I did have to shim one of the front motor bolts 6 thousands.
I usually use ziplock bags for bolts. A few years ago I learned if you let sunlight shine through a window on the bags for an extended period the ziplock bag will disenagrate..
