That would be the conventional way, I'm not very conventional. Just not having to break the comp nut, pull the clutch hub and safety wired hardware would be nice. Then again pulling the inner primary is a task that anyone owning a shovel should not shy away from. Just seems like a lot of work just to get to the adjusting bolt to center the pawl on the cam pins.
I'll probably pop the trans cover and discover all in fine, I always hope for the best but plan ahead of time for the worst.

Ok thanks. that's what I was looking for. It can be done and apparently there is enough room to swing the wrench while holding the hex in the adjuster.

But, Note... Ya gotta also hold yer Mouth "just so"
a really good light is extremely helpful!!
I have done more than a couple...

I have done more than a couple...
I have a good shop light, I'll practice the mouth part before attempting.
