if not for AMF Harley would have been gone ***** only wanted to use the name to sell haberdashery - then years later forced the dealers to comply to being a clothes store - but it ended up being a very hi dollar store made in china - ya baby that worked - look how many dealers went out of business building the Taj Mahal that was required to be a dealer

Plant me Firmly in the Camp, that prefers the Old, Original, SuperGlide... the Tank, the Handlebar gauge Mounts, ...Even the Sportster Front End!!!
However I detest what happened when the "wiz Kids" went to Japanese Gauges... Fugly... I do Not believe the Gauges on my '82 FXR made it over a Year!!! of course, neither did the Exhaust... Flimsy and poorly mounted!!!
All Time Favorite Shovelhead?? Sorry... Gotta be the FXS... oh so sleek 3 gal Bobs ( I do Not require the "fat 5gal. bobs") nice, stacked gauges.. Just a Class act...
But, There may be a reason that the FXWG is the Most Copied H-D in existence... Many Lust after the Look!!! I bet there are More FXWG rear fenders in the world than 10 times the number of FXWG's ever dreamed of!!!! Willie hit a Nerve there!!!!
LOL... Gotcha... Was AMF who brought you the FXWG... Oh and of Course all Original SuperGlides, and FXS's... Wiz Kids Indeed!!!!!All they did was Drop Nova...

^^^FXS^^ I cannot really tell... but appears to have single disk front...so Later... after '83 even maybe.. Or on closer look may be dual Disk...so anytime from 1977 to '83
