Not the transmission sprocket but the engine sprocket. 1984 FXSB with chain primary and final belt drive.
Would love to lower the highway RPMs a bit. Difficult to do with the final belt drive. I looked into it.... currently running a 70t wheel pulley. Next lowest would be a 65t. Speaking with someone who has tried a 65 tooth the stock belt is too long.
The compensator sprocket is a 24. They sell 25 tooth sprockets and a longer 84-link chain.
ya could think of fitting a chain conversion, personally I love belt primarys but have found belt final drivesa pain when changing out & gearing, I find a chain so much easier to swap out & a hell of a better choice of ratios & cheaper in the long run, plus roadside fixes are easily performed,... just my $00.02c worth
