Gearbox leak
Goodmorning!
Seems my gearbox, 4 speed manual on 76' FLH, is leaking from the righthandside, in between the gearbox and the rhs cover.
Can I just unbolt the cover, replace the gasket with a proper James item, and refit the cover, or is there more involved?

The exhaust is in the way but doable - derby cover off you need to re adjust the clutch center screw and hand lever cable
look close to be sure the center floor of the case is not cracked - someone may have used a bolt too long - this will make you think the cover is leaking
if it is we have had luck with JB weld on the floor and a shorter 3/8X16 bolt

Look critically at the vent/bolt.. Overfill or Excess water can come out the vent
