Sounds like a fun project. Yes it's overpriced. I'd be happy at$2,500-$3,000. It is a rare bike.
Shovel restorations are great projects if you have the free time and ain't in no hurry to get it on the street.
Aftermarket parts are plentiful, but I enjoy the hunt for oem stuff through eBay and swap meets.
Take a lot of pictures as you disassemble. Have separate boxes for sub assemblies. And don't keep receipts. If you know how much your spending it'll take all the fun out of it.
You'll end up with a bike you won't want to sell anyway.

I would pay 15000 but only for a good running bike in original condition, located here in Switzerland with Swiss papers.

Just to show you the value outside of the US.

Odds are that you could buy an excellent example and have it shipped to Switzerland and keep some jingle in your pocket ... Just a thought
