Harley also sells a brand new parts catalog book for 1971-84 FX models, p/n 99455-83C, it's pricey but well worth it and how many other motorcycle companies publish print manuals for a bike that went out of production 39 years ago. They may still have the service manual too, I have them both and I couldn't do without them. https://www.harley-davidson.com/us/e...99455-83C//1/y
OE H-D Service Manual p/n 99482-84, 1978 1/2-1984 FX Models. This manual includes some info on EVO Softail models too.

personally I just went on ebay and found some rubber edge trim of the same dimensions, ordered a yard of it for a couple of bucks,
I couldn't tell the difference once fitted, and saved a good few beer tokens at the same time as having enough to make another or maybe two more when i need to,..
unless of course you MUST have OEM that is.............
I went to auto zone and got some door or edge trim. Found it in black and chrome I bought the smallest size. I took a heat gun to it and it went on quite easy.
