Default Pushrod Replacements

Want to replace my OEM pushrods. 80" 84 Shovel. Whoever had the bike before me monkey'd the adjuster nuts and 3 are nearly stripped. Very hard for me to get a grip with a wrench and I had to use some small vice grips to even get them off. HD part 17904-66.

Is S&S my best option?

Neither are any better than the other in my opinion, yes the S&S will give you an extra 47HP but who needs it?

I'd get the 240030 Andrews chrome moly pushrods. They're still in the current price sheet.

Steel whatever you get, had issues with aluminium pushrods, even the name brands.

Dude where do you live ? I'm east bay, Fremont, just looked and found my bin full of pushrods. I've got at least a good set of nuts and stock adjusters and probably pushrods too. Yours if you want them.
