I fired the bike up and went for a short ride about a week ago, no issues. I came out the other day, hit the start button, and nothing. With a little help from Racepres, I jumped it at the solenoid, and she fired up, no problem. I plan to start troubleshooting, but have 2 questions.
1) If I read the wiring diagram right, the starter button goes to post 86 on the starter relay. So when I hit the start button, should I have 12v at that pin?
2) the attached section from the manual says to check the run/off switch, starter switch, and relay by bypassing it with a jumper. I really don’t understand that in regards to the run/off switch and the starter switch. Can someone explain a little better?
