Doesn't look like the reflector part inside is removable in the picture.
In which case it'll need to be drilled large enough to get the lens through, which would be good for light transfer too.

Simple, take the lens and bulb out, drill a 3/8ths inch hole dead center, mix a bit of clear epoxy adhesive, push indicator thru hole into adhesive and BAM! done.
