Has anyone seen the front turn signals with a indicator light in the back? I am trying to get my 1973 Shovelhead basket bike together and I only have one of them.
Owner modified. Show us a picture of the other side, casting numbers will tell if you have an original part or aftermarket. Below is the inside of the turn signal on my 1970.
If those are Original.. Must be an FL, huh? I don't remember what signals was on front of '73 FL, but FX and Sporty had them clamped to Handlebars..IIR
Well since it's an previous owner mod and I only have one, it leaves me no choice but to buy some Amber/clear resin and print my own. At least that's what I'm telling the wife.
Just a heads up for anyone interested. I got the resin in and designed a copy of the what I am calling a Front Signal Indicator. If anyone is interested I can print more for next to nothing. So will be giving pairs away to anyone who asks. Not too shabby if I say so myself
On a different bike some years ago the front indicators had a prism sat on top. It was part of the lens, internal reflection would turn light back to the rider.
