Shovelhead Edelbrock throttle cable
Hi
Just a simple question: my 1978 fxs has a Edelbrock QuickSilver carb. Now the throttle cable broke so I need a new one. What are my options when ordering a new one? Is a Edelbrock cable a must or Can I use something else?

Seems to me I used the same cable as on a CV... Will try to verify!! Qwiksilver?? or Qwiksilver II??I dislike the one with the squirter...and love the II = without...

The Best until the Mikuni...say some...I say Still...as I run as "American" as Possible..
Later , hopefully, I will pull cable and Measure Free length of Carb end...with cable in Throttle Tube (handlebar control)

That one may Not be optimal!!! Again...I am thinking same as CV...But..I was maybe drinkin, and Missed the corner to shop, a minute ago...will get measurement...after a bit!!!
