I have used Interstate batterys in cars and trucks and have no complaints.
I tried to buy that Scorpion battery a few months ago and they were not available anywhere in the US. None of the distributors could say when they would be either. I ended up going to Batterys Plus and they have a perfect fit lead acid battery for my 75 FLH. I''ll try for a Scorpion again in a couple years.

Thats been my experience as well. Nobody has the Scorpion or the Ultima Thundervolt which are direct replacements for the OEM Battery. This happened a couple years back as well. Im not in a great hurry as its Winter here and riding opportunities are limited. I be patient and wait. Im done with lead acid batteries.

No reason on Earth to settle for them Flooded Cell Batteries...Go AGM or maybe LiOn...
I made a spacer box to hold my SuperGlide AGM inside the Stock case/covers, for the YHD-12... Same Battery (bs-20 AGM) in Every Motorbike on the Farm!!!
I use Interstate batteries in my '84 FXE and '02 883R with no complaints. The Interstate battery for the FXE sized battery tray fills the tray's whole width and it's not as deep so you have to make a spacer for behind the battery. With the battery filling up the whole width of the tray there's no room for the chrome battery cover, if you use one.
Thanks for the replies. Should have mentioned it's for an 81 Sturgis. Little more confidence because with MC batteries, they take a beating. Near constant shaking.
The Nam battery from JP Cycles didn't last a season. No one said Nam. Kind of my last choice.
