So how does the motor stall?

Does it loose midrange response or simply flat quit?

Does the fuel line have any location where it has to go up other than into the carb?

I don’t mean to hijack the OP thread lol. But I do love to ramble. No I made sure my fuel delivery is a pretty straight line. The only thing I could change is have a down pointed instead of 90° pingel. from there, it just mildly sweeps downward straight to the carburetor.. it cuts for a second or two like when you run out of gas or are running out of gas and eventually we’ll just stall. But as soon as you put the peacock back on reserve zero issues, clear up to 6500 RPM.

I appreciate your kind admonition. In truth, I do have a measure of respect for life lol. And as much as I may have dressed it up with male bloviating, even the crotch rocket guys I ride with are pretty safe. Most of the time we’re pretty respectful of each other and look out for each other and ride pretty normal. In fact, I’m quite comfortable riding in larger groups with those guys. And I don’t do that very often with other riders. When we get competitive, it’s on nice open roads and I don’t push the twisties past what I feel comfortable doing. I spent my youth riding with crotch rockets in my late 20s early 30s and I’m far more mortal these days both in my thinking and my actions. you’d be shocked what a old shovel head and a super light hard tail frame can do in the twisties.
