There's grades of anything from decent to garbage from anywhere. Trick is doing your homework and know what's good enough to use. Damned little you'll find for a older harley shovel or earlier that is US made, even the big names like S&S import **** now.
When they were still usings carbs, our company stamped and welded the cable guides. I have several in my parts drawer...the thing is, those never really wear out.
