come to think about it I haven't had the large one to fly apart I've had this large on to close to year I may have solved the problem you gonna get pics if this one fly apart LOL

Does anyone manufacture one of those cut up covers that allows you to observe the action of the starter?
I made one from a damaged swap meet primary. The OP could use one to help determine what is happening.
Like the other riders here, I've had the Bendix fail but not grenade.
