If u don't start it muck could be condensation if it clears up in a few minutes ride it.

That sounds like it's a little dribbles out of the valve guides or seals. If it's a few puffs and doesn't foul the plugs I wouldn't even worry about it. On my shovelhead I'm battling smoke on deceleration. I think my heads are flat enough to get a good seal on the gasket and it's sucking oil into the chamber

BTDT...But...It is Bad Habit checking oil in a Cold Harley!! Pee then Check Oil!!! While still warm/Hot!!

I know that, it was a joke, doesn't have to be accurate to be a joke Lol! I could redo it to...

"Preflight check list for a Shovelhead, read the factory owner's manual, follow the recommended procedures for pre-ride checks, top up oil and other fluids if necessary, ride according to the laws and statutes of your state."

No...Don't do that... lets stick to "ensure she Turns Over...Starts and go... But... If yer Old as Me...Never miss an opportunity to Pee!!!!
Edit; I seriously Do Not believe anyone should "check fluids" on yer Harley pre-Ride!! Take the Car for that ****!!!

Honestly, the only fluid level I check is how many beers I have in the saddle bag before I leave.. That's the pre-trip flight plan...
