I have a 1976 FLH, recently obtained a batwing fairing, I need a windshield. Was looking at National Cycle, they advertise one, I called them to ask some questions. The salesman said they dont make one for a 1976 FLH, only windshield that fit between inner and outer fairing sections . Has any one purchased a replacement, can you give me the model number and brand.
Thanks, when I called National Cycle I must have talked to someone not familiar with their product line. Reviews I read about V-twin windshield bashed them. So settled on OEM or National, now I know they will fit. Trip to Oley for OEM search.
John that bike you built is my goal. Is that the original color blue for 1976! I see the bicentennial inserts on the saddle bags. I didnt think it was that dark.

I saw that bike recently with the current owner, he added the OEM stripes on the gas tank, looks great.

only AMF bike i would do original color is some one elses = they are plenty full and that one was in a bucket and chicken baskets with cob webs
its a house of color and we added a silver sun burst flake think thats what its called maybe not -
to both the white and the blue and in the sun light it really pops cant really see it in the shop lights
pierce has original colors but he sucks a quart is already blended so one fender is all you can get - or you can do a spray out is what we do and make our own paint in what we use - the 58 i did he charge me 400 a quart for the white and the blue and the quart has one pint of paint and one pint of thinner in it - only way is the customer buys the paint and the cost of what we convert to ends up being cheaper then buying from him at 4 piece tin set is 1600 just in paint then the bags and bat wing is another 3 quarts - no way am i doing that
