So after back surgery and recovery I Does this go to the kill switch? If so, top or bottom terminal?
'm back in the garage. I bought a set of handlebar harnesses for the shovel and during install noticed this white wire is not connected. It did not break off but it looks as tho it never got soldered. I'm pretty sure it goes to kill switch according to the manual. My question is which terminal on the kill does it go to or does it matter?
I need to meter them out, not knowing if stock or aftermarket, chiwanese..
the grey wire is 12v from ignition keyswitch. (also goes to start button) White is 12v from off/run to Coil
Using an ohm meter see which side is continuity, grey to white, when switch in Run position!! Caution!!! Those switches are Delicate...Capital D...Delicate...use low heat Iron with Low Temp Solder.
I have a new OEM harness in hand. That double white wires with the solder ball on it goes to the on/off rocker switch to the post that would be on the "off" lettering side of the switch. It looks like there is some solder on the post that it might gone to ?
It doesn't look like it in the pic but both sides are pretty shiny , that's why I was not sure.
Upon closer inspection,(this time with my cheater glasses on) it fit right into place and is already fixed. Thanks everyone.
