This is the current setup, but the chrome gotta go & I made the same mistake, cutting down too far. I'm not actually sure if having the end of the jackshaft exposed is actually a problem, beyond dirt ingress, but I'd prefer to leave it longer & maybe trim it down incrementally until it looks right 😄
I flat out just took too much off the front plus...... chrome 🤮

Well, I found 2 dirt cheap, broken replacements on ebay. So far I've got the front pulley cover done. I'll work on the back half tomorrow night. It looks like **** right now, but I'll mirror polish it before I'm finished.

Older cover, probably a bling support went there, think 60's shriner bike bling madness.
