When was spring return throttle introduced?
I owned a 65 Eglide 12 years ago and now am looking to purchase a '66 - ? FLH this winter, and restore. Am trying to determine when HD went from the manual return to idle throttle to the automatic throttle return? and while I'm here, if anyone knows...I have three more questions:
What was the last year of wire spoke wheels?
What was the first year of disk front brakes?
What was the first year AMF was a tank badge? (or showed up anywhere on an FL?

I'll venture an answer regarding the front disc brakes.
1972 first year for FL's.
1973 first year for FX's.
Regarding the wire wheels, are you really asking what year Harley started offering cast wheels?
