As a matter of fact .... decal on fairing IS stock as areones ontank andtour pack. Theywere used on limited number of productionbikes for 1976 including Sportster and FX models. The paint was a silver micro-sequined flake laid over black. In the sun it looks way cool and actually has some depth to it.
The effects were a tribute toour Nations200th anniverasry. I am not sure how many in each model were given the effects, but I have heard (rumors are like you know) that the numbers were quite low. Trying to research that now before I say something way out of line.
Will work on getting a larger shot of the tank emblem as well as one on tour pack, and if Mother Nature cooperates, maybe even one of the paint.
And, so far can't say I've noticed any rattles w/ the front caliper.
I'll be! that is a unique one IMO!
I'm not a big fan of decals that size on anything but since Harley did it thats awesome!
I will have to forward this along to Dean who also owns a 76 FLH.
your lucky the brake not making all sorts of noise on gravel or bumpy roads.
