02 Duece Oil Lines

Help - how do you remove solid oil lines from a 02 FXST Deuce oil bag? I am trying to change oil on my buddies bike and NOBODY from the Softail forum will answer my question!!! Guess they are too busy talking about their "long 100 mile" ride and polishing their chrome...

Please let me know asap if anyone has an idea how to remove the oil lines from the deuce. They are stock and are solid chrome lines...

Did Harley even make motorcyles after 1984?&nbsp\\; Sorry couldn't help myself.&nbsp\\; I'll do some reasearch and see if I can find out.

Man thank you soooo much!! I was afraid it would take a HD "special" tool which cost a HD - Hundred Dollars....lol

Sorry about that post - a guy from the Softail forum wrote back and gave me the answer..

FYI - you need to purchase&nbsp\\; a set of "fuel/A/C" line removal tools at your local auto parts place...

Thank God it wasn't a "special" HD tool - because we all know what HD stands for when you walk in - Hundred Dollars (to walk out) and they won't even talk to us Shovel, Pan and Knuck riders....
