1983 FLT
I am in the process of changing the look of my bagger. \\; I hate the enclosed chain look on the bike. \\; Any suggestions on what to run in its place. \\; Also and thoughts on a transmission upgrade. \\; I plan on beefing up the old shovel. Thanks for any suggestions.

how much of a PITA is the enclosed chain

remember that enclosed should be keeping the back of your bike cleaner then the regular chain

I'm not sure about a belt. \\; The enclosed chain is not a pain in itself. \\; But with that set-up it is difficult to get a hi-torque starter. \\; Also the enclosed chain is just ugly. \\; I think that I have to switch to an FXR inner primary. \\; Thanks.
