You could also try to thread a longer bolt into the cam cover side and give some light taps.

been watching what you guys have to go though this time of year.

Thank's Filthy,longer bolt's fit the bill. Gen. now on bench.
Stayed tuned for the next question tomorrow on fixing stripped bolt hole's in inner primary for the starter.

So far not so bad, Fay dumped alot of rain, The community just north of us got flooded pretty bad. We're watching Hanna hoping it goes the other way. We got two back to back Hurricanes in 2005 that was enough for a lifetime. My truck still looks like somebody took a crowbar to it, from all the flying branches.

Good deal dailyrdr if you are doing much more on the shovel head you might consider getting an OEM service manual to help you along the way.
