Default Need parts number

Does anyone have the part # for an OEM primary cover for sholvelhead 70-84.
That would mate up to a 60620-74 inner primary...
thanks

If it's an FL or FLH it's part# 60508-70. This part would have the ear for the left rear floorboard mount.

I can't help if it's an FX. I don't have the parts breakdown.

I believe that part number for the inner is either a casting number or a superceded part. In either case the 60508-70 will fit FLH or FX models. This number was stock on 71 to 76 FX models as well as the FLH. After 77 the FX did not have the tab on the front for the floor board. 60507-77 is for 77 later FX, FXE and FXEF-80. If you are putting it on an FX with a center shift and no floor boards you can use any FX or FXS primary through 79. The difference in part numbers was some were painted others were polished.

Hi,

I just checked the outer sitting on my shelf and it has 60506-77 on it.
It came off my 1980 FXE.
