Could anyone help , 1978.5-79 fxs shovel , converting to single fire ignition , with 2 coils .
The pink wire that normally works off the 1 coil for the rev counter
How is this wired to the new setup either wiring to 1 coil or looped to both ???

Just curious... what type of ignition? I have a Dyna 2000 HDE runniing single fire with dual coil. In my installtion instructions they specifically tell you to disconnect the pink wire from the coil and connect the tach to it's (igntion module) green wire (I may be messing up the colors, but hey give you a wire to hook to the tach).
