My bike is now running like the champ it is and always was. I have not posted lately as when I get off work I have been riding as much as possible because the Tennessee weather has finally stopped dripping liquid sunshine and has blessed us with the warmth. I have "fellow riders" including my nephew wanting to ride my bike. These are the folks, including my nephew who has a new Streetglide, who basically cast me in the non-rider pile as my bike sat in the garage waiting to be unleashed again.
This bike is like no other on the road. I met a cavalcade of bikes on the rode this week and I was riding alone. I could tell they were trying to figure out what mine was and is. It sounds like no other, as y'all know.
I will post pics of the '79 1/2 80/80 Lowrider, but I've gotta get the camera goin'. I have been too busy riding -- making hay while the Tenn. sun is shining --. I do plan to put 'er back in the shop to take are of some leaking front seals.
....Oh, I am looking at a 2008 Road Glide Police Harley to take on longer trips now that the riding itch has gotten me again after allllllllllll of these years. Glad I never sold the Shovel.
This is a cool forum.
thanks. dr
