hey guys have a 79 flh and just bought a (dome style clutch) that is the only name i could find for it. It is a aftermarket and i can not figure out how to adjust it. If anyone could help me out i would appreciate it. The old clutch had three bolts and the new one has five bolts.
Not next to a manual but it adjusts the same as a 3 finger set up. Need to add slack the the handle cable, back off push rod
Distance from surface of the outer disc to inner edge of spring collar is 1-1/32". Adjust push rod so that distance from starter motor and clutch release arm is 3/8 - 5/8". Finally you need to take slack out of cable so that lever has about the width of a nickel slack in it.
