I have a '66 shovel and it will start easy but after it warms up it wants to die even when giving it throttle orsometimes when I stand it up to ride off. What is causing this ?
Does it have the original stock 66 H_D carb? H-d only used that carb on 1966 model year. (Post Linkert pre Tillotson). It was the basis for the S&S Carb. I owned a '66, 66FL8791 and had one problem with float sticking. Replaced float and it was all good.
