Default Smoking at ide

Hi Gang, I have an 84 FXWG shovelhead that I just bought. Runs good, the only real problem I have is that after riding on the freeway (65 or so at 3200) it puffs grey smoke from the exhaust at an idle for a bit. let it sit 20 min and start it up and everything is good. Also, this only happens when I am riding with my wife on the back. I know....I know....but she insists on going for a ride....lol I'm thinking its a guide problem that only shows up when the oil is nice and hot...dont know

150 lbs extra weight and 60 weight oil. When I bought the bike I was told that it had 5,000 miles on a rebuilt motor. I took it back to my mechanic after it did it the first time and compression is good. That is what makes me think it the guides.......am I opn the right track?

I had my heads redone years back, took it apart after 5k to paint the motor and noticed the valves looked funny, all black on one side. Pulled them out and were loose as a goose in the guides and the sides that were black weren't sealing. The guy did a $hit job on them. So I ended up re-doing them again totally.
