2000-06 FXST for 1973 FX

Greetings, will the front end of a 2000-06 FXST softail work on a 1973 FX, if so what needs to be swithed out, Thanks

You talking about triple trees and all. If so, I think the neck stem is a little longer on the Softail. I think that because to install my 80 Shovel fairing on a Fat Boy I had to add about an inch to the fairing mount.

Neck stem should be OK the triple trees themselves are narrower than FLH style trees and since your replacing the narrow trees it will probably be ok Does this front end come complete with the front wheel ?

On second thought I think it was the FLST that was narrower at least in the EVO years Maybe the 2000 up FXST's are the same width as back in the 80's and 90's
