cant get it started

I have a S&S 103 shovel. Had a bad ground and threw a battery and ignition 2000i.Went thru motor and tightend all mounts bolts which were very loose and re torqed all head, jug and rocker bolts which found most were loose. This is a hard tail. Replaced battery and ignition. So I have fuel and spark but will not start. Im lost can anyone give me some help.

Check the valve adjustment , may have one open a bit after re-torquing everything and retard the timing a bit big inch shovels like it around 30 degrees with todays crappy gas .

Sure ya got it timed right? How's about checking to make sure you got power out of the regulator? I do concur on the valve lash. Electric or kick start?
