I am trying to complete a restoration on a 1983 "Willie Glide" FXDG. ISO of parts anyone may have. Please let me know.

on the other there the correct HD oem part

The early '80's was all screwed up for H-D , I would walk to a MoCo partsman and he would cross his fingers , you had better carry something in with you to match up I still have my '81 Sportster that came with a Super Glide gas tank and the ser# that H-D has no record of ever being made , My '80 Tour Glide is pretty much the same way The 1st year for the 1340 -- 1980 -- right , 1200 and 1340 are still found on '78 , '79 , '80;s there was nothing set in stone in that era

Harley-Davidson-Willie-G-Special-FXDWG-Wide-Glide 1984 I have one a guy wants to sell. It will need restore though it runs fantastic. I can not find any to price it out. I was hoping you may be able to point me in the right direction.

Hello steetdog36 are you still looking for Parts for your FXDG ? or have you completed your restoration ? do you need a fender medallion 99017-83, if so i have a reproduction of one available, because this post is a little older just thought i would ask, if you like you can check out my post on "1983 FXDG refurbish thread " i spent almost 2 years redoing my FXWG into a FXDG replica, i had a lot of fun doing it & am now enjoying the finished build,any way would be nice to hear from you either way,ok take care , Troy : )
