Default 76 FXE Redo

Here is where it begins...

I have added a chrome adjustable swingarm, but not satisfied with the axle fitment yet...the quest continues.

Trial fitting of a bobbed stock fender shows that I must do some minor trimming of the left strut spacers to get it flush with the fender side.

Next up is fitting of a new tail lite. I had to drill for this one as the fender was blank.

I know how you guys like pictures, so I will post them with every update. Upcoming will be fitting of a new fuel tank and possibly a WG replacement for the current springer.

Raining here, so I decided to remove the old tank and set the new one up just to get a feel for the upcoming look...

Axle issues resolved and another caliper bracket installed so I can run a bottom mount caliper. Have yet to find a source for various thickness 3/4" ID axle spacers tho...

Source found for axle spacers that can also be purchased individually... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Wheel...item2c5e2d092e

New nickle plated RevTech o-ring chain...looks great once you get all the excess grease off of it.

I use these place's a lot for that kind of stuff , I have a nice assortment of spacers & shims both internal and outer plus BikerGarage is great source for all kinds of little odds & ends you always need during any kind of build or mod work .
