Lightbulb 75 fx

Hello, I have recently came into a 75 FX 1200 lowrider. The main thing is i inherited just about everything of my stepdads and my mom and I have agreed that i pay for the bike. I am not sure what it its worth considering it is in pieces has not been run for 5-15? years. It also has 35K on the odometer when i last looked. Any help figuring a decent price or any tips on restoring a bike would be appreciated.

Wide range there , need a few pictures to give you any real idea and how long it's really been sitting and in what conditions . Big difference between 5 and 15 years , can mean a few basic things and it'll run to a complete tear down .

There was never a lowrider model in 1975. I own a 1975 FX, it was my first brand new bike I ever owned. It cost $3,200 at Phil Peterson in Miami.

1975 were FX Super Glide and FXE Superglide; FXS Lowrider models started in 1977.

Take a look at your vin. It should read someting like 2C 10002 H5 to 2C 51699 H5 or...

9D 10001 H5 to 9D 51760 H5.

Get a chance post some pics please.

I was just going off of what my stepdad had told me. He had seemed to know what he was talking about. He told me it was a 75 FXS but from what ive seen already i know that is not the case. I know its been sitting for a while but I dont know how long that is. I can try and get some pictures up soon for you guys but it aint pretty.

From what your saying it's a rolling basket case so your neck of the woods I'm thinking $2000 to $2500 is the going price , cleaned up running bikes are hitting $4000 to $4500 or so .
