My understanding is that the Time-Life photo was a "staged" event. Rounded up a bunch of debris along with the dumb-*** drunk on the bike and made the whole world shake in their boots.

like today bikers (not the wanna bes or the im a lawyer,doctor and wanna be in on the image are subjected to looks,sneers,ignorant public, as most of us we have had our share of these gollyweird idiots. the most famous is the sandra bulluck/jessie james.. all her friends told her "oh my god hes a mechanic" naaaa i had a short time wife like sandra -- her goal was to rid me of the deamonds of motorcycles and my friends "get rid of that bike,stop hanging around with those people its bad for your image,clean yourself up and get a real career .. not a day goes by that im not challanged by the idiots.. a good 1 was the female in the huge SUV. she was forced to pull up next to me at the red light -- when the lite changed she jack rabbitted and the dude in the left lane merged to the right-- she ALMOST pegged him-- all because of that dirty bike and rider -- just saturday went to pet smart wasnt open yet -- a female was there -- waiting -- i asked "what time is it" she promplty turned to ignore me and stepped away with the look og UGH!-- turns out shes a DOG GROOMER at pet smart -- i couldnt resist and made it clear that being a dog groomer is such a fine choice of a career.. more shitty looks... yup just let the news media in on it and we will get blamed for everything from adam and eve to the shootings just the other day in Colo.
