I like that tool bag. I need a new one.
I don't image you can find one like that anymore.
I had an Amish saddle & tack maker in Ohio make that for me 30 plus years ago , drew it up on a couple bar napkins during happy hour one after noon and he had ready the next . Guy charged me $30 for it and looked guilty as hell about doing it , I'd have paid twice easy . That tool bag has more miles on it than most people in here , even did Europe with me .
Interesting TB. That's the way to get what you want. All the leather shops that used to be around here, and could have done this work are gone - where I live.
There is an Amish settlement north of me. I have made many purchases from them through the years. I recently bought a leather belt from them. I will be going there in a couple of weeks.

Get yourself a few big sheets of heavy paper from the arts & crafts store do a mock up the tool bag you want , fold it for the pockets , staples & tape .Get it where you like it and go see the Amish . I'd go a bit bigger & deeper on a couple things on this if I did it again but the basic design has been more that proven . It's hung from the lower frame , the risers , under the tree's and I finally rigged up a contoured rack and it now resides on it , look close at my sig you'll see it and the ever present spare belt .
Capt. Itch has one similar , take a look see . You'll see the parallels , can't beat practical .
Picking up a shorter bitch bar soon too , just enough to tie a weekend pack to tired of trying to get the leg over that and not catch a boot . Age sucks

Hey TB, I'm going to PM you regarding the mock up and thanks for the info.
Now, regarding the trials and tribulations of getting older, it's better than the alternative man!
Wow, now that's a serious tool kit! The most I've carried were some hex keys, a swiss knife and tire plugs! lol I have to step my game up now and cover all my bases!
